My name is Emmica Spencer and I am the founder and lead instructor of Starving Artists BHM and I bring to you 25+ years of corporate training and leadership experience! I'm known mostly for my "keep it 100" approach teaching and I blend practical skills and real-world strategies to help creatives level up. As a recipient of multiple customer service and leadership awards in Birmingham, AL and Orlando, FL, I build clear learning paths that lead to Starving Artists BHM certificates, badges, and your newfound confidence!

I also partner with local nonprofits to expand your access and mentorship opportunities and coordinate volunteer opportunities—workshops, and community events—so emerging creatives can gain experience, build networks, and give back.
